Description
Introduction:
Trichloroisocyanuric acid is a strong oxidant and chlorination agent, with high efficiency, wide spectrum, relatively safe disinfection effect. Trichloroisocyanuric acid can kill bacteria, viruses, fungi, molds, cholera isolates, spores, and cocidiococci oocysts. The dosage for drinking water disinfection is 4-6mg/kg, and the dosage for environment and utensils disinfection is 200-400 mg/kg.
Trichloroisocyanuric acid has the function of killing algae, deodorizing, purifying water, and bleaching. It is widely used as washing and bleaching agent for cotton and hemp chemical fiber fabrics, anti-shrinkage agent for wool and chlorination of rubber, oil drilling mud sewage sterilization processing, battery materials, swimming pool disinfection, drinking water disinfection, industrial wastewater, and sewage treatment, food processing, food, health industry, the aquaculture industry, daily chemical industry, hospital, nursery, epidemic prevention, garbage disposal, hotel, restaurant, and the large area of sterilization after natural disasters, man-made, infection control, etc.
Disinfection mechanism:
After being dissolved in water, trichloroisocyanuric acid produces hypochlorous acid which has the activity of killing microorganisms. The hypochlorous acid diffuses to the surface of bacteria and penetrates the cell membrane into the bacteria, oxidizing the bacterial protein and resulting in the death of bacteria.
Features:
- Strong killing effect of bacteria, fungi, and viruses;
- Apart from the strong killing and prevention effect, trichloroisocyanuric acid can also promote crop growth because it is rich in potassium salt and a variety of trace elements groups.
- Effective disinfection within 10-30s, and has the function of protection, cure, and wiping out of fungi, bacteria, viruses, intractable diseases.
