Introduction:

Isomaltooligosaccharide IMO includes malt sugar, panose, and four different malt sugar.

Because of its low sweetness, anti-crystallization, high decocting temperature, good moisture retention and proper viscosity, IMO is widely used in candies, beverages, cold drinks, cakes, dairy products, wine, health care food and other products.

Functions:

  1. Promote the proliferation of bifidobacterium and helps digestion;
  2. Balance intestinal flora and cure stomach diseas like diarrhea and constipation;
  3. Prevent teeth cavity;
  4. Will not increase food calories;
  5. Will not increase blood glucose;
  6. Increase immunity;

Application:

  1. In food industry: The use of IMO in diary products, juice, honey, Chinese medicine and candies can increase the healthcare function of products, in a way that helps the significant proliferation of bifidobacterium in large intestine, which can improve digestion and lactose tolerance, promote intestinal flora balance, prevent cavity, improve immunity, decrease cholesterol and prevent high blood pressure, will not increase the food calories that causes fat, and will not increase blood glucose.
  2. In wine-making area: IMO improve the taste of wines and healthcare functions.
  3.
